Reference & Instruction Librarian: Health Sciences

The Reference/Instruction Librarian will work in a team-based environment and serve as the primary library contact for all students, faculty, and staff in the School of Health Sciences, providing outreach, instruction, course materials, in-depth reference assistance, and collection development services. The School of Health Sciences includes the Division of Nursing, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Rehabilitation Counseling.

Minimum Qualifications:

? Familiarity with concepts and goals of information literacy; ? Provide an engaging, approachable, and service-oriented experience to library patrons at public services desk. ? Ability to demonstrate by experience or coursework to learn and apply new technologies for the delivery of instruction and research services commitment to student success; ? Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, perform multiple tasks simultaneously; ? Capacity to solve problems, work effectively with all levels of personnel ? Knowledge of a range of software, hardware, and web-based tools ? Contribute effectively to team efforts; and demonstrated excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
