Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

To support the CDC in providing high-quality care and education by coordinating center activities.

Minimum Hiring Standards

1. Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills

2. A professional attitude and confidentiality in all interactions

3. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work

4. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks by stated deadlines

5. Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software

6. Demonstrated ability to work independently

7. A pleasant, positive and helpful service attitude

8. Must be flexible and able to shift priorities as needed

9. Teaching or administrative experience in an NAEYC -accredited program

10. Experience at a University or other lab environment or employer-sponsored program

11. Experience with scheduling

  • Due to the nature of this position, a series of background checks will be required
Preferred Hiring Standards

1. Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (human services, child and family studies, psychology, etc. with 15 hours of ECE coursework)

2. First Aid / CPR certification
