Advertised Job Summary
- Plans, coordinates, and executes comprehensive annual giving program, including direct mail campaigns, corporate grant applications, and the Family Fund employee campaign.
- Drafts content, manages production schedules and contact lists and oversees project budget for annual giving campaigns.
- Oversees private scholarship funds and endowments to ensure proper awarding and deployment of funds by monitoring account balances, coordinating with appropriate campus contacts and communicating recipient information to donor(s).
- Designs and implements stewardship strategies that strengthen long-term relationships with annual donors, including communication, events, and other recognitions.
- Manages online giving forms and assists with development-related special events and projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor?s degree and 5 years related experience in an area such as alumni development, fundraising, prospect research, or business development. Good driving record, valid driver?s license and successful background check are required.
Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines. Knowledge of computer programs and willing to learn fund raising software. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision. Possible oversight of student
