Advertised Job Summary
Assist Administration with coordination and execution of pre-and post-award activity for approximately 8 million in external funding, including pre-award advisement, budget development, submittal of proposals through USCERA and post-award ?nancial activity. Provide ?scal and Human Resource management for activities in the Center for Child and Family Studies ( CCFS ); provides supervision for ?scal staff and HR staff; ensures compliance within applicable guidelines, policies and procedures. Prepares ?nancial analyses and reports related to external funding. Work with COSW HR/Grants Management contact regarding related activities, reporting etc. Develop internal procedures for the CCFS to ensure effective, ef?cient operations.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor?s degree and 6 years business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration experience.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, federal and state policies and procedures. Ability to analyze and interpret complex ?nancial data, reports, policies and procedures. Pro?cient with computers, accounting software applications and general of?ce technology. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of ?scal personnel, establish and maintain working relationships with others. Preferred experience: Peoplesoft; USCERA ; Grants.gov. Masters? degree and 5 years relevant experience in business, public administration or administrative services, or bachelor?s degree and 7 years relevant experience in business, public administration or administrative services; or equivalency.
