PENN GLOBAL COORDINATOR

The position will be responsible for a variety of administrative needs across Penn Global, while serving as the face of Penn Global via the front desk for all entering the Penn Global suite.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, completing intakes and check-ins to best manage the workflow for incoming visitors, updating the Penn Global website, handling room bookings and maintaining the scheduling needs of shared spaces, creating requests for catering and office supply orders, and additional administrative functions such as entering payment requests and fulfilling mail service?s needs.

The position will also have to coordinate initial responses amongst walk-ins, telephone calls and emails, assign individual cases to advisors as needed, help collect documentation for intake and coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs of completed immigration documentation.

The person will also have an opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects across Penn Global as time and needs permit- specifically for Penn Abroad, International Student & Scholar Services & Penn Global?s Office of Finance & Administration.

Qualifications

A Bachelor?s degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The ideal candidate?s interests will align with the vision and mission of Penn Global. Working in a fast-paced, diverse and high volume setting, the individual must be comfortable with multi-tasking, should be customer-service oriented, and have an openness to different cultures. Intercultural communication skills and understanding are desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills are desirable, as the position will regularly interact with students, staff, faculty and a variety of positions throughout the University.

The candidate should have familiar with Microsoft Office- including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. Familiarity with druple is a plus.
