BUSINESS MANAGER B
The Business Manager B position for the Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility (CVPF) and Translational and Correlative Studies Laboratory (TCSL) is responsible for the overall daily administrative and financial management of the service centers within the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies (CCI). This includes keeping record of submitted invoices and tracking payments and making sure posted to correct funds, providing fiscal and regulatory oversight. Working with each group in CVPF and TCSL ensuring correct billing and services are captured on invoices for both internal and external vendors. Interact with faculty to build budgets to reflect cost of services. Develop systems and reports; prepare monthly financial statements; compile projections and forecasting including short and long term planning.
The Business Manager will also assist in the financial management, preparation and monitoring of gift, special purpose and retention
This position will report directly to the Administrative and Financial Officer for the Center of Cellular Immunotherapies (CCI).
BA/BS degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, and at least three to five years of relevant experience in an academic setting with grants management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Understanding of the NIH regulations governing service centers required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently. Strong background with Excel is a must. Knowledge of Penn systems preferred.Affirmative Action Statement
