Coordinator, Continuing Education
This position will report to the Associate Director for Custom Solutions and is responsible for coordinating and supporting non-credit education, training, and professional development programs within the Division of Continuing Education.

This position requires a high level of public contact with customers, faculty, outside consultants/independent contractors, senior clientele, professional, civic and business leaders.

Conduct promotion, registration, fee collection, logistical and customer support for assigned programs. Coordinate with Information Technology support staff and Financials Office to set up/activate course information/registration on computerized course and student management systems. Ensure that course outlines, pricing, dates and specials are accurate and kept updated on CE Division websites and marketing materials.

Create and manage purchase orders, invoices, and payments associated with assigned programs. Maintain, monitor, and report all revenue and expenditures related to the programs and courses offered.

Assist with development and implementation of various marketing strategies and campaigns to recruit program participants, this includes working with the marketing team on web, email and print media promotional collateral. Assist in the coordination and staffing of program information sessions to include special events, conferences and workshops

Assist with the formatting/editing, creation and assembly of program/course materials to be presented for training purposes. This also includes the purchase of course materials and supplies to be used by students and instructor(s).

Minimum Qualifications

Master?s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor?s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferences

Outstanding organization, communication, and customer services skills.

Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Fluency in Spanish preferred.
