Assistant Director of Annual and Conwell Giving
Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Assistant Director of Annual and Conwell Giving will oversee and manage annual fundraising initiatives, including messaging, segmentation and solicitations. S/he will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate successful annual giving plans to our alumni and friends at the Fox School of Business. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of 100 high-end annual prospects, and conduct eight in person visits a month in order to solicit annual gifts from $500 up to $25,000. The position will also coordinate the Fox Conwell Society initiatives, including recruitment and motivation of leadership, cultivation, solicitations, stewardship, and events. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor?s degree and at least three years? experience that includes constituent-based fundraising experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Excellent interpersonal skills are required with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals both inside and outside of the university.
*Proven ability to raise and close annual gifts ranging from $500 up to $25K.
*Demonstrated success developing direct mail/email and telephone solicitation campaigns
*Demonstrated success with developing and sustaining relationships with key donors, volunteer leadership, and senior staff.
*Entrepreneurial skills in identifying donors and relationships.
*Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking with the ability to take initiative and the willingness to learn.
*Superb communication skills.
*Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours.

*Experience with social media.
*Experience working in alumni relations, marketing or sales related roles.
*Experience working in higher education or other educational institution.
