Help Desk Representative Part time
Position Summary : Assists Help Desk Administrator with planning, development, scheduling and operations of Computer Lab and Help Desk facilities. Lends support to lab patrons on general lab use and performs hardware and software troubleshooting. Also responsible for hardware maintenance of printers and computers, and must have appropriate skills for the task. Supports the Help Desk by taking level one technical support calls.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required : High School/GED

Knowledge, Skills and Proficiencies: Excellent customer service skills are required. Must be courteous, conscientious, patient, dependable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Working knowledge of telephones, Microsoft Office 2010+, Windows 7+, Apple, remote assistance, network printing and ability to learn new software and networking concepts.

Preferred : Vocational/Technical Degree with field of study CS, CIS, Programming

Experience in Clinical applications, academic support, basic A/V knowledge
