UNIV - Curriculum Coordinator II - Pediatrics: Adolescent Medicine (Upstate Region)

This position will be field based, serving child care programs in Spartanburg and surrounding counties. It is a temporary, full-time grant position with benefits in the SC Program for Infant/Toddler Care (SCPITC), part of the Boeing Center for Children?s Wellness based in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine. The position entails providing relationship-based coaching and training to child care providers in the Pee Dee area to the statewide operation of the SC Program for Infant/Toddler Care.

Successful candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills including public speaking experience. Candidate must be able to work independently but also function as part of a team. Occasional in-state, regional travel required. Candidate must have valid driver?s license and reliable transportation.


Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 6: $39,960.00 - $56,947.00 - $73,935.00 (min - mid - max)


FLSA: To be determined


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A master's degree in education or another directly related field and two years experience in curriculum development.

Preferred Experience and Training Requirements: Training in PITC concepts and practices. Ability to build relationships with diverse communities across the service areas. Strong knowledge of ABC Quality Standards and Child Care Licensing Regulations is preferred. Knowledge of child care program operations.
