To report to the Chair of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology and the Chair of Cellular and Integrative Physiology and indirectly to the Executive Associate Dean for Administration, Operations, and Finance, School of Medicine. Serve as a strategic administrative partner and a principle advisor to the Chairs and as the chief financial steward and leader of administrative support services for the department. Identify, mobilize, and optimize financial and other resources to help advance the mission of the department and the University, and ensure that the department?s faculty, students and staff receive high quality administrative support in a manner compliant with University policies and procedures. Direct, plan, and manage the comprehensive business affairs of the department, including management and analysis of Departmental budgets, auxiliary services, grant management, human resources, facilities management, and regulatory compliance. Manage annual operating budget.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED: Bachelor?s Degree in a related field, plus 2 years administrative experience and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative capacity.
Equivalent combination of education and experience at a 2:1 ratioPreferred Qualifications
