The University offers fifty-three undergraduate majors, seven master degree programs, three doctoral degree programs, and over forty additional certification programs, including a selection of accelerated and online programs. Immaculata employs over 330 faculty and staff, who together with the Sisters serve approximately 2,500 students.

Job Description

Director of Admissions , College of Adult Professional Studies

Immaculata University is seeking a Director of Admissions for the College of Adult Professional Studies. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of strategic recruitment and admissions initiatives and management of the daily operations of a fast-paced, customer service oriented, admissions team.  This individual will provide the vision and leadership to inspire, motivate, coach, and mentor professional and support staff to advance the profile of the University and reach enrollment goals for the adult undergraduate student population.

Responsibilities include development of individual admission counselor goals and metrics, oversight of student recruitment, including utilizing the web, campus visits, college fairs, and community events; integrating and communicating all aspects of student resources to provide seamless assistance to students in acquiring the information and services they need throughout the admission process. The Director builds and strengthens partnerships within and outside the University to serve students, collaborates with others on approaches to marketing, and assists in creating alternative pathways to degree completion.

Candidates should have a record of successfully developing and implementing strategies designed to enhance student recruitment in higher education. The successful candidate will have five or more years of progressive management roles within an admissions/enrollment, or related, higher education setting. He/she will also have excellent leadership, management, financial, database and social technology, and communication and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree, with five to seven years' experience, is required; a master's degree is preferred.   

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Position requires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member, with enthusiasm to learn and flexibility to change.  Demonstrated management and use of higher education CRM system(s), student search databases, student information systems, and related technologies including social-media platforms.  Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to clearly present to a diverse group of constituents.

Must enjoy a fast paced environment and be energetic and diplomatic with proven ability to effectively handle competing priorities; take initiative, troubleshoot and to work effectively within a close team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivery of quality customer service required. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

Preferred Experience - Strong Banner skills.
